Samsung has been running the show in the smartphone industry since the past decade. This year, Samsung’s Galaxy S6 variants and the Galaxy Note 5, were crowned as the best smartphones of the year. These smartphones feature a stellar performance with an improved design. However, the single feature which, all of these smartphones lacked was a MicroSD card slot. A lot of users were turned down from buying one of Samsung’s latest mobiles because of the lack of expandable storage. According to a report, a lot of long-term Samsung fans chose to go for other alternatives due to the lack of a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage of the device. However, it is rumored that Samsung might be including a MicroSD card slot in its upcoming flagship – the Galaxy S7.
According to a credible source, Samsung will be releasing two variants of the Galaxy S7. Samsung will be releasing a curved-edge variant of the Galaxy S7, along with the normal version of the Galaxy S7. Moreover, it was reported that the Galaxy S7 will be featuring a 5.2-inch display, while the Galaxy S7 Edge, will be featuring a 5.7-inch curved-edge display. Additionally, it was also reported that the Samsung Galaxy S7 might be featuring a MicroSD card slot for expandable storage. However, this information is not confirmed yet, so you might want to take it with a grain of salt for now. If this rumor turns out to be true, Samsung mobiles will be getting a lot of returning customers for the Galaxy S7.
