AMAZON AND BEST BUY RUN OUT OF STOCK FOR PRE-ORDERS OF THE SAMSUNG GEAR VR

Samsung’s Gear VR enjoyed a positive response from the consumers worldwide, and many Online stores have already run out of stock before the release of the headset.

A couple of days back, we reported that Samsung had officially announced their first Virtual Reality headset – Gear VR. The Gear VR reproduces the concept of oculus Rift VR. The Gear VR uses the display of your smartphone to immerse you in a 3D virtual environment.

The Gear VR was open for pre-order through online shopping about two weeks ago on Amazon, Best Buy, and Samsung’s official website at a price tag of $99. However, it seems that the response was quite impressive from the consumers’ end, as all the Gear VR headsets have been pre-ordered from Best Buy and Amazon. Both of these online stores have run out of stock which was available for pre-orders. Moreover, Amazon also dropped a note that the estimated availability date will be added soon. Anyhow, the customers in the United States are still able to pre-order the Gear VR headset through Samsung’s official store. Additionally, T-Mobile will be also opening the pre-orders for Gear VR around this Black Friday. The Gear VR pulled a great response from the consumers worldwide, and the orders have gone beyond the company’s expectations. In a recent interview, a Samsung Spokesperson said that the company is working hard to fulfill all the orders.

The Samsung Gear VR is the second Virtual Reality headset after the Oculus Rift VR to be released worldwide, and is priced in the reach of an average consumer. At the price tag of $99, users can immerse themselves into an interactive 3D immersive environment.
